Party season’s outfit ideas

PartySeasonMerry Christmas everyone!

Only some days left until the New Year’s Eve and it means that we still have some time to decide what to wear ;-). This year I have a feeling that sales were going on all the time, from the Black Friday until today I’ve received so many offers on my mail box!!! It was quite difficult not to go crazy. However right now it is actually the best time to buy the Party outfit because after Christmas you have a chance to buy it with the biggest discount (while the different sizes are still available).

I suggest to look at brands that you usually can’t afford, because probably now your dream dress has the most affordable price ever. I love to shop online, because I can try on the clothes silently at home without rush, queues and annoying sales persons (although sometimes they are really nice and their suggestions are awesome!).

Set a limit for your purchases before making an order, if you are in doubt than keep in mind that you could always send the clothes back. If I love 2 dresses, I would order both and then decide which one to keep – this is really great option, because there are times when decision are not evident :-).

So, let’s start with my favorite brand – Self-Portrait. I love, love, love their dresses! They have their own online shop with a huge choice of Party Outfits, however because of very inflexible return policy I would not recommend you to order from their site directly. Instead, look for Self-Portrait dresses on Net-A-Porter or Mytheresa. Choices are limited, but if the dress doesn’t fit, you will be able to send it back easily and free of charge.

My personal season’s favorite is this Self-Portrait floral midi dress, it looks so gorgeous!

I actually love midi dresses, because they are very versatile and appropriate for both day & night parties, official & unofficial events. In addition midi dresses are usually so feminine!

The next dress I’d like to share is this Preen by Thornton Bregazzi red sequined dress.

If you feel that you are ready to be the star of the evening than look for something noticeable like this dress. The combination of bright color and sequin is definitely not for shy person ;-).

For the more classic look this Rebecca Vallance jumpsuit is really great:

The jumpsuit is definitely more interesting than Little Black Dress. Moreover, in some cases women need to look more professional than feminine. This jumpsuit is a wonderful choice for corporate party or festive dinner with colleagues.

If you are going to attend Black Tie Event than you have to wear long dress.

But your long dress shouldn’t be boring! While this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini dress looks innocent in the front – it has an open back ;-).

My last favorite dress from the sales this year is this mini red dress from Alexander McQueen.

This is like Little Black Dress with the only difference that it is not black ;-). If the cut & the color fit you perfectly, go for some colorful dress instead of classic black!

What is your favorite outfit? As I’ve already mentioned, all of these dresses are on sales now ;-). I’m sure you may find cheaper alternatives that will be within your budget, the most important here – to get inspiration for the final party of the year! 🙂

Have a great New Year’s Eve and Chin-Chin! 🙂 🙂 🙂
