French pharmacy brands are awesome, I love them because it is like a capsule wardrobe – high-quality all year basics! I particularly like the sensitive line products, when my skin is having the bad days – I am always reaching for the Bioderma, Avene, Vichy or La Roche-Posay products. But today about my current favorites:
I was using this cream last summer as a makeup base and I was very satisfied with the results! You can check out my blog post from the last year here. Although I was thinking to try something new this year, I didn’t find a good alternative to it. La Roche-Posay have something similar, but with only SPF20 :-(. Also La Roche-Posay have very good sun creams with SPF50+ protection, but those are sun creams, that you suppose to wear on the beach or when you are going to spend a lot of time outside. But I was looking for the simple moisturizer with SPF that I could use on a sunny day in the office. So, this is great everyday cream with SPF (for the second year in a row!)
This is probably the most popular Bioderma product ever! Great for sensitive and intolerant skin! No parfum added! No scent at all! Could be used as 3 in one – makeup & impurities remover, eye makeup remover (also waterproof) and tonic. Very diverse product that could be used at all ages! I wish I knew sooner about the existance of it! 🙂
This Lotion doesn’t have scent, that I personally like, because I am using perfume on a daily basis and I don’t want to mix one scent with another. The consistency of the cream is also nice and it absorbs very quickly, but at the same time it is very nourishing! If you love to blend your body lotion with the natural oils (that I am doing from time to time), this is a great base product for this. La Roche-Posay lotion is suitable for the whole family – also for young children! Definitely recommend it and I am sure it will stay on my favorites’ list for a long time.
This is a must-have for me! I have also tried the version of this deodorant without aluminium salts:
Unfortunately the latest one didn’t work for me ;-(. But I am very supportive about the idea to use aluminium salt-free deodorant since it is definitely healthier option. However, I found out (and many people who have used aluminium-free and other natural options would agree with me) that this type of anti-perspirants are less effective ;-(. I am not ready to give up the confidence that give me my usual Vichy deodorant yet. Also, the affirmation that aluminium in your anti-perspirant may cause cancer is not really proved fact and it negative effect is a bit exaggerated nowadays.
This is it for today, I hope that my recommendations was useful, because French pharmacy’s products are the products that I love use every single day!
